Senior Health Chats are designed for older adults in both the caregiver and care receiver "roles". The sessions include speakers on a wide variety of topics of interest to seniors, such as Better Your Health by Unleashing Your Creativity, Less Stress in Financial Planning, and Senior Fitness.
Senior Health Chats are held the first and third Fridays of each month, 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, at the Los Altos United Methodist Church, Creekside Center. Rev. Dona Smith-Powers is the coordinator. Attendance is free of charge, although a donation is suggested.
A new group began in the Fall of 2005 at the Los Altos Public Library, located at 12 S. San Antonio Road in Los Altos This group meets the second Tuesday of each month at 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM. Attendance is free of charge.
All are welcome to both groups.
